Mystery Donor Program
You are a vital link to our donors! You can help us improve customer service by recruiting donors who are willing to be a “Mystery Donor.” This program has been designed to reinforce good customer service during the blood donation process and identify areas for improvement.
How does the program work?
The sponsor of the blood drive will recruit at least 10 donors who have signed up to donate to be a “Mystery Donor.” The “Mystery Donor” could be a board member, multi-gallon donor, first-time donor, or someone who has had a less than optimal blood donation experience in the past.
Each sponsor will receive a supply of “Mystery Donor” brochures to distribute to each “Mystery Donor” in advance of the blood drive. The orientation brochure includes a questionnaire for them to complete and return to you or to the volunteer at the bloodmobile. The “Mystery Donor” brochure has also been designed as a self-mailer, so they have the option to mail it upon completion.

The feedback we receive from donors will be used to either reward or counsel staff. The program is not designed to punish staff, but instead, to assist them in improving their customer service skills and make the donation experience for our donors more positive.
